a note from Krystle:Hey Kathy,
Thank you again for such an awesome experience shooting our engagement shots in Wilmington! We had sooo much fun :) Just wanted to give you a short blog about how Joe and I met each other and the engagement.
Joe and I met in St Augustine, FL about two years ago. We had both moved to St Augustine to attend graduate school for our Doctorate in Physical Therapy. We had met one another through friends and had numerous encounters with each other, but remained friends until my last semester in school. One of our first dates was to the lighthouse in St Augustine and this is where he also proposed on July 18th, 2009.
Joe had actually rented out the lighthouse for the evening and as we climbed the 218 stairs to get to the top I had no idea what was to come. With the two of us being the only people at the top overlooking the beautiful downtown city and oceanfront he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! Of course, I was so shocked and happy I couldn't even form words. After a few seconds, which seemed like forever to him, I pulled him up into my arms and
said YES, YES!!! We are truly soul mates and thank God everyday for bringing us together! We are getting married on May 22nd, 2009 in Lexington, NC. Once we are married we will begin our journey together as traveling physical therapist!
