Lauren, class of 2010

Lauren, a senior this year put on her winter gear in the warm weather we have had lately to get some great shots of her favorite past time. She plans to attend Appalachian in the Fall to pursue a teaching degree...and of course to perfect her snow board techniques!

Message in a bottle

Darrell and Brittany were married at Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville, NC.
After a fabulous wedding the couple will honeymoon in Gatlinburg and then leave for Kentucky where they will make their home.

downtown bridal

One of my dear friends, Beth got married almost a year ago in Jackson Hole and came into town for some bridal shots.
The sun setting in this alley in downtown Mocksville is a great spot to photograph.
Beth lives with her husband in Wyoming.
She was such fun to photograph as all the stresses of the typical prewedding bride were removed.
Thanks Beth for the honor of allowing us to photograph you.

baby Emersyn

Sweet baby Emersyn is 2 months...this is not exactly what we had in mind for this image, but I still LOVE it!
Finally a perfect expression of peacefulness.
A wonderful family who we look forward to working with as Emersyn grows.

all smiles!

Colt was all smiles for his 3 month shoot!
Such a cute little man.
We love seeing how these babies change and grow!

beautiful bride

Ashley was a beautiful bride! Matt and Ashely were married at Cody Creek in May.It was a perfect day to do a fun photo shoot at our environmental farm location.

I love that pouty little face!Maggie was full of personality and drama during her two year old shoot.
We were honored to create a custom photo card for her birthday invitation!

Stephanie & Randy

Stephanie decked out in 1950's attire for a really hot afternoon stroll in Downtown Mocksville. She and Randy chose this location to have their engagement photos taken.
The couple will marry September 19, 2009 in Statesville, NC

of course I said YES!

After many years of chance encounter and missed opportunities Andrew & I finally started dating Sept. 5, 2007 and have been inseparable ever since! Andrew proposed to me on December 25, 2008 in the living room of our first home together just after we had finished opening are presents. After a little digging around in the couch cushions he tells me I have one more present and he pulls out a little box and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.Of course I said yes yes yes! It was very special and very sweet. I will always remember our first Christmas together in our new house. We are not sure of our date yet but we hoping for November 27th of this year.

blog slackers!

Sorry about the lack of blogging from us lately! We have been so busy.
The Carolina Bridal show was a huge success and we met many wonderful brides and grooms!
We actually took some time off and had an actual vacation. Keep watching to see Kathy's amazing photos from New Mexico. The best part is while we were off living it up Amy our trusty assistant was working hard to transform the studio by cleaning and painting. How exciting a facelift! On a personal note we found out we are expecting baby #3 in late March - so needless to say I have not been feeling that great!
Thanks for sticking with us and just wait to see the fall promotions and come by and check out the studio anytime!
